Why Command Your Morning?

I was praying about several things that were going on in my life. By noon every day, I was a total mess. Ever feel that way?

• Feel out of control?
• Do you feel your day is messed up before it starts?
• Is it hard to stay focused?

That’s how I was feeling when I heard this phrase gently walk through my mind – Command your morning, and the rest of the day will follow.

That’s when I rearranged my mornings so I could get the important things first.

• Bible study and prayer time

• Exercise

Once I did these important things, the rest of the day was more manageable, and I wasn’t under pressure all day long to find a way to work the things I want to prioritize into my busy day. I had a scripture, a thought, a prayer, or a declaration to hang onto for the rest of the day. It helped me be more focused and intentional.
